Pat is making a documentary film about this quirky family tradition. Whilst enjoying a few bottles of wine at home, his parents and uncles would burn the wine corks and intoxicatingly draw on each others faces. They would then start acting the role of these imaginary characters.
Its a cool story so I wanted to photograph Pat with this 'family-cork-charcoal' on his face. Plus he is an awesome dude.

i got bored with a model once, and put a cork in her mouth, lol, it looks silly. dunno if this link will work for you.
When you told the story shell i imagined cinematic sort of lighting, or really bright and colourful with movement, of the family around the table, in a cork drawing on face fight, like really funny, with wine being spilt etc
