team cool's awesome first shoot

hi portraiture peeps. this is our team's first attempt at high mid and low key.  a huuuuge thank you to emily, olly and calandra for taking our abuse.

    I really love the effort people are making to use 'models' that aren't in our course! I think it forces you to make a different connection when you dont recognise the person in the photograph. you can create your own story about them...
    (says the person that has submitted selfies for all major projects :P LOL)

    cool midkey shot guys! im really into 'commercial' portraits right now, like Jil Greenbergs stuff for example... it works well! :)

    The light on the low key image is really nice, you've got that classic triangle on the left cheek.

    I agree with elliott, the mid key image in particular has a jill greenberg-esk feel, which I think is super effective.
