These images are the first selection from my environmental portraiture series.
I plan to photograph a series of portraits from barber shops, the workers and their clients.
Barber shops seen to be very unique as most of them have been around for a long time, past down from generation to generation.
Its interesting to see the types of people who work/ own these businesses and the individuality they bring to the shop itself.
(The quality of these images are low as I saved them for the web)
I wanted to do this in some brainstorming I had for this class! Its really interesting as well I think, as its kind of a dying tradition. + you can get some easily visually stimulating images from these locations!
